Summary about club/organization:
The Milford Band Programs are becoming one of the premier performing groups in the State of Maryland.
The Milford Band consists of several performing ensembles in which over a hundred students participate throughout the school. Milford’s bands are known for performing at high profile national events and achieving consistent superior scores at festivals and competitions. Over the past years, the Marching Band has performed for the NFL Buffalo Bills, and countless other national and local events. The Millers Bands looks to perform for such events as the Orange Bowl in Miami Fl. a Concert Festival in Hawaii, Macy’s Day Parade and a trip for the Jazz Band to Africa in the upcoming years.
The Milford band program consists of five different ensembles: the marching band (of which the drum-line, front ensemble, and color guard are part), the symphonic band, the wind ensemble, the jazz ensemble, and the concert band. Various smaller student ensembles (such as trios/quartets/quintets) are regularly conducted throughout the year as well.
